Mother’s Day

Mother's Day at the Acadiana Indian Association is a delightful fusion of tradition and celebration. In a gesture of appreciation for the incredible mothers within our community, the association orchestrates a special event where the men take on the role of chefs, crafting mouthwatering biryanis, dosas, and other culinary delights. As the tantalizing aromas fill the air, families gather to indulge in these homemade delicacies, sharing laughter and stories of love. Alongside the feast, the day unfolds with joyous games like the classic lemon and spoon race and spirited rounds of musical chairs, infusing the atmosphere with laughter and friendly competition. Through these heartfelt gestures and lively activities, the Acadiana Indian Association pays tribute to the remarkable mothers who enrich our lives, creating cherished memories and strengthening bonds within our vibrant community.
